Flights to, from and within Greece and insurance are not included in the tuition fee, but OYL staff will assist apprentices finding flights and insurance options if needed.  We do recommended setting up fare alerts at as soon as you are accepted into the program.
OYL requires all participants to obtain travel insurance prior to arriving in Greece. is a very useful website to compare and purchase travel insurance policies appropriate for your situation.

Food & Meals

Three meals per day are provided. Dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, etc.) will be accommodated as needed.

Physical Preparation

The OYL Apprentice Program is a highly physical undertaking, yet designed carefully to be attainable for all. Along with daily physical training, we undertake two or more mountain hikes as a part of the program. We strongly encourage basic daily fitness activities in advance of joining the program in Greece.
