Nick Flint
Nick Flint was born and raised in Sydney, Australia and fortunate enough to attend a Rudolph Steiner School, began acting at age 6. He attended Charles Sturt University with a scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Acting in 1997. For two years afterwards, Nick worked as a juggler of dangerous implements on the streets of Sydney and on TV. This future seemed unsteady, so he returned to acting in 2000 and has performed with the major Australian state theatre companies, including the Sydney Theatre Co. in The Shape of Things. and Melbourne Theatre Co. in The Recruit. Nick has sustained regular roles on the TV dramas Home & Away, All Saints, and Love Bytes; and has played major roles in the Australian feature films Ned and The Tumbler and a highly forgettable role in the US feature Dynasty: The Making of a Guilty Pleasure. Between 2000 and 2002 he was an ensemble member of the physical comedy troupe Urban Tales who devised and performed sketch comedy in clubs and pubs. He was drawn to New York in 2006 to train and intern with the SITI company. In New York, Nick has worked with One Year Lease on Iphigenia Crash Land Falls…, Bed, and Death and the Maiden (NYC and Athens productions); and performed in 967 Tuna with the Australia Project. Currently, he is also a performer with The Flying Karamazov Brothers. He is extremely inspired and excited to be a member of the OYL ensemble.
